Church Staff

Brad Clark, Senior Pastor

Pastor Brad was called to Southside as the full-time pastor in 2013 after serving for 25 years in the youth ministry in Missouri, Florida and Texas. He considers himself blessed as the Lord continues to give him an urgency to understand and reach our ever-changing culture with the one thing they hunger for most, which is simply truth. The heartbeat of his calling is to this community and to families at all levels of their spiritual walk; encouraging them to experience the fulfillment of a God-centered lifestyle, preparing them to remain connected to Christ and the church, while equipping them to impact their world with the Gospel of Christ.

Brad, and his wife Kendra, have been blessed with three boys: Kiley, along with his wife Lauren, their daughter Addison, and son Wyatt; Koda and fiance, Ashley; and Jaden of the home. In his free time, you will find Pastor Brad watching or coaching basketball, spending time with his family, or enjoying the great outdoors.

God has blessed the Clarks to serve here at Southside, so if you are looking for a church home where you can worship/serve, full-time or during your seasonal visit, they would love for you to come worship and spend time getting to know the Southside family through the weekly services and gatherings!

Jaden Clark, Music Director

Jaden surrendered to the ministry in May of 2016 and has served as Southside's music director and praise team leader since August 2014. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of five during revival services and truly has a passion to reach the lost for Christ through music and spoken word. Jaden served on both the youth and adult praise teams in Texas between 2009 and 2013, playing lead acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. He also enjoys competitive basketball and plans to attend Johnson University in Kissimmee, FL this fall where he will pursue a ministry degree while continuing to lead and serve here at SSBC.

Elizabeth Hudgsel, Church Secretary

Elizabeth has served as the secretary at Southside since 2012. She keeps the church office running smoothly and is the helpful hands, gentle spirit, and smiling face behind the desk should you call or visit! Originally from Ohio, Elizabeth moved to the Apollo Beach area in 1991 and joined Southside in 1992. Elizabeth is faithful to serve in many capacities here at Southside; she is our worship pianist, service organizer, and a member of the mission outreach team- just to name a few. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
