Bible Study
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." The Bible is the only source of divine authority, and it God's revelation to us. By studying God's Word, we become aware of God's purpose for man and His will and desires for our lives. The Bible teaches us what we need to know about the Lord and His creation. It provides instruction and guidance as we strive to lead godly lives. These are just some of the reasons that Bible study is important to the people at Southside.
Preaching & Teaching
The preaching of the Word is at the core of the church and is an integral part of the life of the believer. At Southside, you'll experience preaching and teaching of the Bible that allows listeners to apply scripture to their lives and grow deeper in their relationship with God. Worship services are held on Sundays at 10:50am and 6:00pm and our midweek Bible and prayer service is on Wednesdays at 7pm.
Sunday School
Sunday School enables people to fellowship and study God's Word. It also encourages outreach and strengthens participation in the body of Christ. All adult, youth and children's classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30am! Come join us!
Bible Study Groups
SSBC Bible studies cater to diverse groups, providing opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. For men, these gatherings offer a chance to explore the Scriptures, deepen their faith, and bond with other like-minded individuals. Women's Bible studies create a supportive and nurturing environment, fostering connections and an exploration of faith. For busy moms, these sessions offer a much-needed respite from their demanding schedules, allowing them to connect with God and fellow moms. Childcare services are thoughtfully provided, ensuring that mothers can engage fully in the study while their little ones are cared for. To foster community and convenience, dinner is often served, enabling participants to share a meal and their experiences while strengthening their faith. These Bible studies provide an invaluable space for growth, connection, and nourishment in body and spirit.
